Technology: Cable
Speeds: 5 Mbs - 8 Mbs download speeds; upload speeds are unpublished (but I am still looking).

Pros: Always on, fast download speeds, free Computer Associates security software.

Summary: Road Runner broadband internet access uses the same coaxial cable that delivers your television signal to provide two-way, always-on, high-speed internet access. Time Warner also sells digital television and digital telephone service so look for package deals.

I really love my Road Runer. Though the bandwidth changes due to shared traffic, there is still plenty during the day to do work. Then, at night (after about 10 or 11), there is PLENTY of bandwidth for my online gaming (BF2).and downloads.
